Pelagos (after hepworth) series
This series was conceived after I saw a photo of Barbara Hepworth’s “Pelagos” in a sculpture class. I was struck by the perfection of form in Pelagos, and this series was born.

“Pelion,” second pendant in my “Pelagos (after Hepworth)” series. Pendant materials: 22k gold, oxidized sterling silver. About 1.5 inches long by 1 inches wide. 2019. Pelion is a peninsula in Greece combining the essence of mountains and sea.
“Drakolimni" is the third pendant in my Pelagos (after Hepworth) series. 22k gold, oxidied sterling silver, black spinel. About 1/5 inches wide. “Drakolimni” means “dragon lake” in Greek. The pendant resembles dragon’s teeth. 2019
