Pelagos (after hepworth) series

This series was conceived after I saw a photo of Barbara Hepworth’s “Pelagos” in a sculpture class. I was struck by the perfection of form in Pelagos, and this series was born.

“Drakolimni" is the third pendant in my Pelagos (after Hepworth) series. 22k gold, oxidied sterling silver, black spinel. About 1/5 inches wide. “Drakolimni” means “dragon lake” in Greek. The pendant resembles dragon’s teeth. 2019
