Rose-cut garnet, 14k white gold ring. Garnet is rose-cut, which means it is faceted and has a point in the center of the stone. Rose cuts are an older style of cut, which started in the 16th century, which I think are very distinctive and beautiful.
My 14k white gold is unplated, making it appear a dark silver color. In jewelry stores, white gold is plated with rhodium to make it look whiter. Over the years, this rhodium plating wears off. My 14K natural white gold is very distinctive and adds a more artistic, individual touch to the ring. If you like that high-white jewelry store look, I can make this ring for you in 14K white palladium gold. Please contact me for a quote.
I can engrave the inside of the ring band. The ring is about 1mm wide, so the engraving will be tiny! Engraving is less than 1mm high (because the ring width is 1mm) and you will need a magnifying glass to read it. It's kind of like writing on a grain of rice. Please specify engraving of 10 characters or fewer in notes during checkout.
