Black Diamond, 14k White Gold Stacking Ring. Hammered, Engraveable.
Black diamond and 14k rose gold stacking ring. Black diamond is a rose-cut cabochon, which is a type of gem cut that originated in 16th century Europe. I set the black diamond with a steel punch and a hammer. The hammer marks on the setting and on the band echo the facets on the rose-cut black diamond. Rustic, antique, zen.
Black diamonds are typically treated with heat and pressure for color. This diamond is treated. I have a diamonds certificate from the GIA.
I can engrave the inside of the ring band. The ring is about 1mm wide, so the engraving will be tiny! Engraving is less than 1mm high (because the ring width is 1mm) and you will need a magnifying glass to read it. It's kind of like writing on a grain of rice.
Please note your ring size and/or engraving in the pop up box.
This is a Custom-Made, made-to-order item, and it should take me about 2-3 weeks to make it.
