14k white gold, London Blue topaz hammered stacking ring
Dark London Blue Topaz Rose Cut, 14k white gold hammered ring. The rose-cut london blue topaz is about 4mm wide. Rose-cuts are faceted and have a point at the very top. Rose-cuts first originated in the 16th century. I love the antique, more simplified look of the rose-cut as opposed to the modern round brilliant cut typical of faceted gems. I've tried to take photos from the side so you can better see the stone's shape.
I use unplated 14k white gold, so it will not be shiny like in the jewelry store. Jewelry stores plate their white gold with rhodium to make it look whiter. I can make this ring in 14K white palladium gold if you like that bright white color. Please contact me for a quote.
I can engrave the inside of the ring band. The ring is about 1mm wide, so the engraving will be tiny! Engraving is less than 1mm high (because the ring width is 1mm) and you will need a magnifying glass to read it. It's kind of like writing on a grain of rice. Please specify engraving of 10 characters or fewer in notes during checkout.
This is a custom-made, made-to-order ring and takes about 2-3 weeks to make.
